Carrick Construction achieves bronze accreditation in North Lanarkshire Employer Charter

Carrick Construction has been awarded bronze accreditation as part of the North Lanarkshire Employer Charter, recognising the company’s commitment to fair employment practices and continuous improvement.

The accreditation reflects Carrick’s alignment with two of the charter’s key pillars, ‘Fair Pay’ and ‘Be the Best’, demonstrating its focus on supporting its workforce while maintaining high standards across its operations.

The Employer Charter aims to encourage businesses to play an active role in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable local economy. By becoming an accredited member, Carrick Construction joins a growing network of organisations committed to responsible employment and community-focused growth.

As a UK-wide principal contractor with a bases in Cumbernauld and Worcester, Carrick Construction has an established presence in the regions and beyond, delivering sports infrastructure and environmental construction projects. The company’s involvement in the charter reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting local employment, skills development and long-term economic resilience.

The bronze award marks the first step in the accreditation journey. Carrick Construction will continue to build on this foundation, with ambitions to progress towards silver and gold accreditation by further strengthening its engagement with local schools and delivering measurable social value through projects in North Lanarkshire.

Steven McInroy, Construction Director for Carrick Construction said, “We are pleased to be recognised as a bronze member of the North Lanarkshire Employer Charter.
