Site Manager
Carrick Construction are one of the UK’s leading experts in sports surface construction. Carrick also operates in urban developments, providing build solutions for sustainable drainage, blue/green roofs, and rain gardens.
We are currently looking for Site Managers to join our construction team in the Midlands and South area.
This would suit anyone who has previous experience in the day to day running of sports construction sites, sports drainage, civils and groundworks projects.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- To manage the day-to-day activity of our construction site.
- Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety on site are maintained and adhered to.
- Ensure that the agreed project plan is managed and achieved.
- Manage client site relationships and maintain good communication throughout.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with all colleagues and staff.
Candidates will need:
- A full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS/CPCS card
- SMSTS Qualified
- Previous experience working within the sports construction and civils markets.
- Be prepared to travel to different UK locations and stay away from home when required.
- Be a good communicator, organised, pay attention to detail and work well under pressure.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment for all.
Pay will be subject to experience.
Working schedule is day shift (7am until 4pm). Overtime will be required and paid.
You will be required to provide proof of your identity, right to work in the UK and qualifications during the selection process.
We will seek references on appointed candidates and may approach previous employers for information to verify experience or qualifications before employment. An online search will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all short-listed candidates.

- Pay: £17.50-£19.50 per hour Weekly pay. Monthly salary also available.
